P0350 — Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit/Open
A general open-circuit fault has been detected on an ignition coil's primary or secondary winding (no specific cylinder identified). This code is set when the PCM cannot localise the fault to a single coil.
General code reference. Confirm the definition and diagnostic procedure for your vehicle's year, model and engine. A stored code alone does not identify a failed part.
Affected components
- Ignition coil
Possible causes to check
These are possible checks, not a ranked diagnosis. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's test procedure before replacing parts.
- Coil winding open
- Pin pushed back out of connector body
- Cracked solder joint inside the module or sensor
Diagnostic notes
