P006B — MAP - Exhaust Pressure Correlation
The relationship between manifold absolute pressure and exhaust back pressure is implausible. One of the two pressure sensors is faulty or there is a major leak in either path.
General code reference. Confirm the definition and diagnostic procedure for your vehicle's year, model and engine. A stored code alone does not identify a failed part.
Affected components
- Map sensor
- Exhaust pressure sensor
Possible causes to check
These are possible checks, not a ranked diagnosis. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's test procedure before replacing parts.
- Exhaust back-pressure sensor faulty
- DPF or exhaust path leak
Diagnostic notes
